Associate Litigation Attorney

Premier Law Group is a well-established Puget Sound firm that advocates for individuals, never for insurance companies or corporate defendants. We're a small team of four attorneys and a comparable number of support staff, and we're looking for a litigation associate who wants to build a practice centered on helping individual clients in tort and employment litigation.
About the Role
You'll take on new client matters after pre-litigation settlement attempts have failed. The expectation of for the litigation associate to advise clients, investigate claims, draft pleadings, motions practice, conduct discovery,, manage deadlines, attend mediation, and prepare the case for trial with the expectation to try the case, if alternative resolution fails. You'll be trusted to make decisions and manage your own caseload, with experienced colleagues down the hall when you want a second opinion.
What We're Looking For
Required
• Licensed to practice in Washington
• At least three years of litigation experience (experience in personal injury and/or employment law is a welcome plus)
• Desire to want to try cases
• Enjoys legal writing
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the judgment to balance speed and accuracy under a demanding workload
• Reliability: you meet court dates, deadlines, and client commitments, and you return calls promptly
• Comfort with technology: typing at 50+ WPM, Microsoft Word, and practice management software (task lists, billing, document storage, email). Basic Excel skills are a plus.

• No billable-hour requirement. Compensation is tied to the quality of your work and your clients' satisfaction, not a timesheet.

• Compensation: compensation is negotiable and based on experience but generally the pay will range between $100k - $250k depending on the attorney's ability to get results
