Beautiful, well-preserved antique apothecary scale, manufactured by FISHER SCIENTIFIC, a well-known manufacturer of scientific and precision instruments around the beginning of the 20th century.

This double-arm balance features the original glass windproof case, weighing pans and a base with the manufacturer's nameplate. The closed case was designed to prevent air currents, allowing for extremely accurate measurements.

The lever on the right can be used to lock the balance in place for transport or when not in use.

In very good condition.
