We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded CDL Class A Driver to transport freight across designated routes. You will be responsible for ensuring safe deliveries, performing routine vehicle checks, and maintaining precise electronic logbooks.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate tractor-trailers safely under diverse weather and traffic conditions.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Secure heavy cargo using straps, chains, or binders to ensure balanced weight distribution.
- Maintain electronic logging devices (ELD) to track driving hours and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route status, delays, or mechanical issues.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Up-to-date DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass random DOT drug and alcohol screenings.
- Minimum 2–3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred
- OTR Experience, ability to run on the road, weeks at a time.
