Vintage cast iron tractor/implement toolbox often found on early farm machinery, horse drawn equipment or tractors to hold wrenches and small parts. It features a hinged lid with raised decorative lettering that reads tools flanked by scroll work along with the part or model number 1521 stamped near the bottom.
The other is a vintage hayfork or unloader component frequently part of a historic Barn hay carrier harpoon/sling system or a pitchfork attachment used with pulley systems to lift loose hay into a loft, it’s made of heavy forged or cast iron steel with a distinct mounting spike and twin prongs or a stabilizing arm.
Both of these are great pieces of rustic Americana, very popular barn finds and industrial and rustic home decor.
