WHO SHOULD APPLY? An entry level professional who wants to learn, work well with others and care for what they do! You should be able to abide by all Sunflower Cafés and Health Department required and recommended safety measures in the workplace. Being able to stand, move and lift 15+ pounds is a requirement for all positions. Food managers certificate is a plus.
1+ year experience Tuesday to Saturday 10AM to 4PM Sunday 11-8
Training and orientation is available
Salary/wages: Based on experience/competitive
• Familiar with food prep techniques and set up stations
• prep- prepare- and break down lunch daily
• Ensure all work areas and storage areas are tidy ensuring all products are stored appropriately while consistently using safe and hygienic food handling practices
• Assist other areas of the Kitchen
• Close down kitchen according the Sunflower Café & Bakery guidelines and Health Department standards
