Pullets and Cockerels hatched Easter and last week of April and one year old hen. Pullets are at point of lay; expect eggs by October.
The parent stock is from Sandhill Preservation. Dark Mahogany Rhode Island reds with Rose Combs. These are standard bred birds not hatchery stock, i.e. heritage breed.
I have plenty of cockerels to choose from and those are free. Enough to make up a few breeding trios or quad (cockerel and three pullets/hen) for a starter flock.
Pullets and hen are $25 each. Making a breeding trio $50 and a quad $75.
Pickups must be scheduled in advance, these birds free range and I must cage those sold before opening coop the day they are being picked up.
