(I'm not anti electric instruments. I just have an idea for something and it requires instruments that don't need to be plugged in.)
Hi there. I want to write some music and make some videos with people that would be interested in doing something kind of weird. Folky, bluegrass-y, sort of gothic, kinda punky music where maybe we wear masks if we feel like it.
I'm a singer and acoustic guitarist.
You know those musicians that say that they don't want to talk about politics or religion? Yeah I want to talk about politics and religion. I want to express everything I want to express. I want to write music that protests the government and the church if that's what feels right to do, and I don't want to work with people who have a problem with that.
These are all things that are normal in heavy music. I want to bring it to this type of music. I don't want to make music for everybody. In fact, I think that where a lot of musicians go wrong is that they try to make music really accessible. The problem with this is that when you try to appeal to everyone, nobody feels truly special or seen. So I want to lean into authenticity and independence. As people say, I want this to be a great use of free will.
