$30 FOR EVERY QUALIFIED LEAD, PAID WEEKLY — PLUS $400 TO $600 WHEN THEY SIGN UP. NEVER CLAWED BACK.
PageTend builds and manages websites for small businesses from $99/month. Unlike other website offerings like Wix or Squarespace, PageTend manages their websites for them, so there are no portals to log in to and no technical skills to learn. They send an email, and we make the change.
Before a business pays us anything, we build them a complete preview of their new website — free, no card, no obligation. That free preview is what you offer, and it is why this is an easier call than most sales jobs.
The screenshots on this posting are real sites we built.
WHAT YOU WOULD DO
- Call small businesses and offer the free preview — the dentist, the café or the body shop in your own town, plus a list of thousands of researched small businesses we hand you, with phone numbers.
- Say plainly what it costs and how it works. The price is published and fixed, so you never haggle, never write a quote, and never build anything.
- Fill out a short referral form for them on the call. We build the site and email it to them.
- Call back a few days later to see what they think.
- Once they buy, stay on the account a couple of weeks to collect their photos and hours so we can finish the site.
WHAT YOU ARE PAID
- $30 for every qualified lead, paid weekly. A lead is qualified when the owner agrees on the call to a free preview, you log the call in our rep portal, the email address checks out, the business is not already a client or already claimed by another rep, and the owner does not afterwards tell us they never spoke to anyone. You are paid whether or not they ever buy.
- Up to 5 paid leads a week — $150 a week. That is a real cap and we would rather say so up front. Every lead becomes a website we build by hand before anyone has paid us, and five a week is what we can build well. The cap moves when our capacity does. We can change the $30 or the five either way on two weeks' notice, and never for a lead you have already generated.
- Then four months of the client's plan for every business that signs up — $400 to $600 per client, with no cap on signups.
- That part is paid in two installments: a quarter within 10 business days of their first payment clearing, the rest once they have been with us four months.
- Paid on list price even when the client is on a promotional rate.
- Once you are paid, it is yours. We never claw anything back.
- There is no base salary and no guaranteed hours.
WHAT WE GIVE YOU
- The phone list, already researched, so you never start the day at zero.
- A PageTend email address, so you are a real person at a real company rather than a stranger.
- A short handbook with the pitch, the objections you will actually hear, and what to say to them.
- Everything after the sale. We build, host and maintain the site. You do not.
THIS SUITS YOU IF
- You are US-based and able to work as a 1099 independent contractor.
- You are comfortable on the phone with someone you have never met.
- You can work some of the 8–9am or 4–6pm windows, which is when owners actually pick up.
- You follow through on paperwork, because the referral form is how you get paid.
No experience required. If you have worked retail, food service or a call center, you can do this. Prior sales or appointment-setting experience helps but is not necessary.
BE CLEAR ON THE TRADE
There is no base salary and no guaranteed hours, and most of what you can earn still depends on businesses choosing to sign up. The lead payment is capped at $150 a week. You set your own schedule and work from wherever you like, anywhere in the US. If you want a steady paycheck, this is not it. If you want to be paid for results you control, it is.
Apply with a short note about any sales, outreach or customer-facing work you have done — retail and service jobs count.
