Semi-powerful duo (one metalhead-guitar, one punk-bass) of experienced DIY oldsters looking for a DRUMMER down to play heavy, weird noise-rock/sludge/post-whatever music. We are in our 40s and have played in many DIY bands (the drill, you are familiar with it), but we are also kind of over it. If you like being loud, aren't interested in 'making it,' have solid gear, transportation, influences outside of the usual suspects, and have a good attitude (and maybe a bad back?) we'd like to get something together... play some shows... do some weekender tours... put out an album that no one will listen to... complain about 'the kidz...' stand (sit?) in the back with our arms folded... You get the idea. We have a couple of practice-space options between us and are open to whatever you'd like to bring to the table via interest/influence. Our backgrounds are in Black/Death/Doom and Crust/Stoner/Sludge respectively, though we're kind of going for a more post-grunge kind of sound at present. Looking to have fun with it. Get in touch!
