This is a hands-on customer service position within a warehouse distribution environment. The right candidate will serve as the key connection between our customers and warehouse operations, ensuring orders are processed accurately, customer requests are handled promptly, and our warehouse teams have the information they need to get the job done right.
ABOUT THE POSITION
This position is approximately:
75% Customer Service | 25% Warehouse Operations
You will work directly with customers while coordinating closely with our warehouse and distribution teams. The ideal candidate understands that excellent customer service doesn't stop at the office—it requires working with the operations team to ensure the customer's needs are met from order entry through shipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers
• Process and monitor customer orders
• Communicate order status, inventory information, and shipment updates
• Work directly with warehouse personnel to coordinate customer requirements
• Resolve order, inventory, shipping, and receiving issues
• Investigate discrepancies and follow issues through to resolution
• Enter and maintain accurate information in computer systems
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with warehouse operations
• Assist with warehouse activities when needed
• Use RF handheld scanners/devices to access and update warehouse information
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Handle multiple customers and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Provide professional, responsive, and exceptional customer service
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for someone who has both customer service and warehouse/distribution experience.
