The projector works as designed, except it will only advance or reverse with the included remote. It will also advance only with the adjustable timer delay. The buttons on the unit click, but will not advance the slides. Most users prefer to hold the remote control anyway, so this shouldn't be a deal breaker. Here is an opportunity to purchase a quality slide projector to view and copy your vintage slides. The auto focus seems to be a little finicky as well, but once focused, you should be good to go. Includes one 80 capacity carousel tray and a small speed loader to view a stack. I did not test the loader.
