Ceramic Penguin Figure from Ushuaia, Argentina - $15 (Ballwin / Wildwood)

If you guessed Bears/North and Birds/South, you’re correct. Many folks go to Antarctica to see the many species of penguins who live there. On our first trip to Antarctica we purchased this cute little thing in Ushuaia, Argentina, the self-annointed ‘ Fin del Mundo ‘, the End of the Earth. The city vies with Puerto Williams, Chile’s claim to the same title. They each claim to be the furthest south town in the world.
It’s cute, outfitted with as necktie for formal occasions and is in the same new ‘shop-perfect’ condition as when boughlt in 2007.
Everybody loves Penguins !
