This set matches the No. 47 series found in the original Lorch Schmidt catalogs. While the pieces carry the sequential sizing numbers (3 through 22), they do not have a manufacturer's stamp—common for precision toolroom accessories of this era sourced from a high-end 1952 Lorch LLRGN kit.
The Complete Series (20 Pieces):
- Full Sequential Run: Includes sizes 3 through 22. A complete, matching series like this is extremely difficult to find.
- Shank Measurement: Verified at 4.50mm with digital calipers (as shown in photos). These are designed to be held in a 4.5mm collet on a Lorch 10mm LLRGN or similar high-precision lathe.
- Application: Specifically designed for precision turning of watch pivots, shaping screw heads, and finishing small cylindrical components.
Condition & Quality:
- Sharp Cutting Faces: All tools have clean, sharp edges with the hollow-ground geometry intact.
