## Overview
Bakersfield-based produce company is looking for an **experienced, reliable CDL Class A Truck Driver** for local and regional produce deliveries.
The primary route is from **Bakersfield to the Los Angeles area**, with deliveries to **San Diego approximately two days per week**.
This is a **full-time, 6-day-per-week position**, and the **driver returns home every day**. Weekly pay ranges from **$1,500 to $2,000 depending on experience and qualifications**.
## Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial truck with refrigerated (reefer) trailer.
- Pick up and deliver fresh produce between **Bakersfield and Los Angeles**.
- Make deliveries to the **San Diego area approximately 2 days per week**.
- Ensure produce is transported safely and maintained at the proper temperature.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Verify loads, bills of lading, delivery paperwork, and delivery locations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with Hours of Service requirements.
- Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and California commercial driving regulations.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, traffic delays, and schedule changes.
- Maintain the truck and trailer in clean and safe operating condition.
- Provide professional service to customers, warehouses, and produce facilities.
## Qualifications
- **Valid CDL Class A license required.**
- **Experienced CDL Class A drivers preferred.**
- Reefer and produce delivery experience is highly preferred.
- **Must have a clean driving record with no traffic violations within the last 2 years.**
- Must meet DOT and FMCSA driver qualification requirements.
- Must be able to pass required drug and alcohol testing.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and available to work **6 days per week**.
- Must be comfortable driving in **Los Angeles and San Diego traffic**.
- Must have experience safely backing into loading docks and warehouse facilities.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Professional and safety-conscious attitude.

**Weekly Pay:** $1,500–$2,000, depending on experience
