The Behringer Truth B2031 is an active 2-way reference studio monitor that was priced at around $250 per speaker. They feature an 8.75-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter with bi-amplified power (225W). It is widely praised for its sturdy cabinet build and deep bass, though users note its factory tuning can sound bright. This affordable studio monitor is known for delivering a flat, linear frequency response (50 Hz to 21 kHz) and high power output on a budget! These are the original B2031 version of the monitors built in 2001 just before the B2031A was introduced. The Truth B2031 differs from the B2031A in several ways; the older B2031 uses a polycarbonate woofer diaphragm, while the newer B2031A uses polypropylene material. In addition some minor internal circuit, impedance, and crossover revisions were also made due to the design of the woofer. While its a mixed bag, many folks prefer the original design. If you are one of those folks, this is a good pair for you. They should not be mixed with newer B3031A and they do sound different.
We have an original manual, two AC power cords that are included in the sale. If you need these to be pole mounted let us know as we have the baseplates and mounting plates that fit these units.
Condition: These B2031's have been tested by DALAUDIO and are in good operating and physical condition. All inputs and options were tested and found to be operative. Overall these are a good relative value.
