We're promoting an upcoming music event and need an outgoing, reliable street marketing rep in Austin to help us get the word out!
QUICK DETAILS
Location: Austin
Hours: Approximately 4–5 hours total
Pay: $200 flat rate
Via: Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, Venmo
Start: ASAP through September 14th
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Visit college campuses, record stores, retail shops, and other busy/local spots to drop off promotional postcards
• Stop by locations including UT Austin, Austin Community College, Waterloo Records, end of an Ear, Breakaway records, BLK vi and other assigned locations
• Talk to staff and make sure postcards are left with the appropriate person
• Take photos of your drop-offs and send them in as proof of work
• Stay in communication with our project manager and provide updates when needed
• Complete the assigned route and make sure all locations are covered
WE NEED SOMEONE WHO IS
• Outgoing, friendly, and not afraid to walk into a shop and talk to people
• Reliable and follows through — flaky applicants need not apply
• Has their own reliable transportation (car or bike)
• Has a smartphone and is comfortable taking and sending photos
• Able to work independently and stay on task
• Familiar with the Oklahoma City area
• Prior street, retail, or event marketing experience is a plus — college students welcome!
