This things fulfills the basic premise of a table saw: a sturdy flat surface with a spinning blade, and that's it.
There is no safety guard. There is no bag to collect sawdust.

I wouldn't use this to teach a teen how to use a table saw. I would trust a safety-aware adult to do so. I've used it several times and I still have so many fingers. I got it for a few projects and now those projects are done, and I have nowhere to put it. Let's put it at your house!

For $230 you can get one of these new at a box store, but this one is cheaper and it comes with a (used) blade.
