This is a current-production “add beans, get coffee” espresso machine, from a decent company with actual espresso expertise. (Philips also owns higher-end Saeco, if you’d rather spend a lot more.)
It’s approximately capsule-machine simple, with no capsules to buy -- just whatever your favorite beans are. That means less waste / more flexibility. It has a built-in ceramic burr grinder, and robotic action that minimizes fiddliness.
Perfect for a small office or household, a short term rental, a man cave, a workshop, a circus founded by the insane, a dorm room ...
The box is open (to take these photos), but the machine has never been unpacked. So, it’s “New in open box.”
