Looking for an experienced mobile mechanic, preferably someone who specializes in Subarus and/or manual transmissions, to perform an on-site transmission inspection and diagnostic.
Primary issue: Loss of reverse gear. There is additional vehicle and repair history that I can discuss with anyone interested in taking on the job.
At this stage, I’m primarily looking for a knowledgeable mechanic to inspect the vehicle, help identify the likely cause of the issue, and advise on potential repair options. I’m not necessarily looking to have repairs performed during the initial visit.
Located in North Austin.
Compensation: Budgeting approximately $125 for an initial on-site diagnostic (roughly one hour), but open to reasonable quotes based on experience and the scope of the inspection.
