Hello, y'all! I'm a guy in his early 30s looking to find a native Spanish speaker as a private tutor ideally once a week for an hour. Of course, I'd pay you for your time. I'm hoping this can be an ongoing thing since I'm dedicated to becoming fluent.
Interested in advanced-level conversational, vocabulary, and accent work where we'd just speak in Spanish the whole time :) I'd be ecstatic if we could keep the focus on Mexican Spanish, but I also find European Spanish cool! We can keep the sessions academic or fun, just know they don't have to be an ultra-rigid process.
We'd meet at a coffee shop or another public area, preferably around the East Austin/Hancock/Hyde Park area.
For reference, I'm high intermediate/advanced in the language since I lived in Mexico for 4.5 months earlier this year and made a good effort to learn the language. I learned the language from scratch, but I speak Portuguese fluently so the vocabulary and grammar rules are familiar to me. I would love to become fluent in Spanish to get closer with my friends in Mexico and surprise folks with my skills whenever I return to the country, which I'll do a couple times a year.
