I got this cherry Epiphone SG in a package deal about 12 years ago along with a guitar I way preferred (I was trying to negotiate a tele down a hundred bucks, and the owner said if I paid closer to full price he'd throw in the SG, which had just been returned that day after being bought day before). I paid almost full price but got an approx extra $250 guitar, my guy saved on doing paperwork and a clean up job to get it back on the shelf).
I played it a little over the years but not much and it's become the go-to for casual player friends to play if the mood takes 'em. As you can see by the dust, it hasn't been used much really, especially in the last couple years as our family grew. Need more space now.
So all of that is why it's going free. Ideal for a learner given the long neck (which is quite heavy in comparison to the body, so a good strap is needed for vertical playing). The action is tough in places but the fretboard is smooth. Never had a problem sound-wise but can't say I explored it much either over the years.
There's a button missing which I'll try to locate. Fairly sure one of the kids picked it off.
When picked up it needs to be cleaned and restrung. It hasn't been given a fresh set since mid-pandemic era.
