We are looking for an Environmental Field Technician to join a leading environmental consulting firm headquartered in Austin, Texas. Our firm provides a wide range of services across the state that include; due diligence investigations, site assessments, petroleum storage tank investigations, oil & gas remediation projects, spill plan generation, permitting, etc. Before you apply, please know that you will be travelling throughout the state of Texas three to four nights during the work week completing field tasks.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct site assessments and inspections
- Collect environmental samples (soil, water, air)
- Collaborate with clients, landowners, and project teams
- Prepare documentation and reports to support regulatory compliance and project objectives
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic data entry tools
- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and thrive in a collaborative environment
- Experience in environmental consulting preferred, but not required
