Full-Time | In Office | North Austin | $60K-$65K + Performance Bonus
Great With People. Comfortable With Technology. Always Looking for a Smarter Way.
Are You Great With People AND Technology?
We're looking for a tech-savvy, relationship-driven Client Relations Specialist who enjoys talking with customers, solving problems, and finding smarter ways to get things done.
This isn't a traditional customer service or call-center position. You'll build real relationships with existing business customers, learn how their operations work, identify problems before they become bigger issues, and look for opportunities to improve their experience.
Just as importantly, we want someone who is comfortable with technology, curious about AI and automation, and always looking for a better way to organize information, communicate, and work more efficiently.
If you're the person who learns new software quickly, experiments with AI tools, builds a better spreadsheet instead of doing something manually every week, or figures out a shortcut everyone else starts using - we want to meet you.
What You'll Do
Build Strong Customer Relationships
• Proactively contact assigned customers to strengthen relationships and understand how we're performing.
• Build rapport with business owners, managers, decision-makers, and key customer contacts.
• Ask thoughtful, direct questions about service quality, communication, performance, and overall satisfaction.
• Become a trusted point of contact who customers feel comfortable calling when they need help.
Solve Problems Before They Grow
• Identify service concerns and customer frustrations early.
• Work with operations and management to make sure problems are addressed and followed through to completion.
• Track open issues, commitments, and next steps so nothing falls through the cracks.
• Look for patterns in customer feedback that could help improve service across the organization.
Find Opportunities
• Learn each customer's business and identify opportunities where additional services, locations, routes, or resources could help them.
• Recognize changes in a customer's business that may create new opportunities.
• Help management understand customer satisfaction, retention risks, service trends, and growth opportunities.
Use Technology to Work Smarter
Technology is an important part of this position. You'll use CRM and Microsoft 365 tools to manage customer information, communication, follow-ups, and reporting.
We're especially interested in candidates who are excited about using AI and modern productivity tools to make their work more effective.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to summarize information, prepare for customer conversations, organize notes, or improve follow-up.
• Find ways to automate repetitive administrative work.
• Create better reports, trackers, templates, dashboards, and workflows.
• Use CRM data to identify trends, priorities, and follow-up opportunities.
• Help improve how technology is used within the Client Relations function.
You don't need to be a programmer. You do need to be curious, comfortable learning new technology, and willing to experiment with better ways of doing things.
Who We're Looking For
• Communicate confidently and professionally on the phone and in person.
• Are comfortable speaking with managers, business owners, and decision-makers.
• Know how to ask direct questions without making conversations uncomfortable.
• Listen well and genuinely enjoy understanding how a customer's business works.
• Are highly organized and good at following through.
• Learn new software quickly.
• Are comfortable with Microsoft 365, CRM systems, and modern business technology.
• Already use - or are excited to learn - AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar platforms.
• Naturally look for ways to make processes faster, simpler, and more efficient.
• Can work independently without needing someone to constantly tell you what to do next.
• Take feedback well and continuously look for ways to improve.
Experience in client relations, customer success, account management, inside sales, or another customer-facing business role is preferred.
Transportation or logistics experience is helpful, but not required.
What This Job Is NOT
This is not a position where you'll sit at a desk reading from a script all day.
We'll give you the training, tools, and structure you need to succeed, but we want you to develop your own communication style, build genuine customer relationships, and bring new ideas to the position.
"There has to be a better way to do this."
And then go figure it out.

• Opportunity to grow into Client Success, Account Management, Business Development, Operations, or other leadership roles.
