Free ceiling fan from Hunter. It makes noise when it runs. Light works fine.
I don't know how long it will keep running. Might be a repair project, might be for parts.
I asked Al and it had these thoughts:
Symptoms: Rubbing or scraping that varies by speed.
Diagnosis : Rotor/shaft clearance issue, misassembled blade holders, or an internal contact point.
Pick up at Long Canyon Drive, 78730.
