Are you a contractor interested in building deconstruction and material reuse? Want to expand your skills and business to a new area? Apply below to attend the week-long hands-on deconstruction workshop Nov. 16-20, 2026.

Participants will deconstruct a single-family wood-frame house, led by an experienced trainer. The workshop will include a comprehensive overview of deconstruction, including tool use, safety, engineering concepts, material organization and disposal (including salvage), legal considerations, and job site management.

A $250 fee will help cover costs for the week-long training.

Please note: Spaces in this workshop are limited and will be allocated on a rolling basis. This professional, hands-on training is intended for individuals or companies planning on offering deconstruction and salvage services in the Austin area. This is not an introductory-level or community course.
