Fix Appliances CA Inc. provides professional appliance repair and maintenance services for residential and commercial clients across the Greater Toronto Area and Simcoe. Our company specializes in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of household appliances, ensuring customers receive reliable and efficient service. Our technicians play a critical role in maintaining high service standards, minimizing appliance downtime, and ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate diagnostics and professional repairs.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise, support, and mentor appliance service technicians during their day-to-day field operations, ensuring that repairs are completed in accordance with company quality standards and established procedures.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point by providing real-time support (by phone, video, or in-person when required) to assist technicians with complex appliance diagnostics and repair issues.
• Partner closely with the dispatch office to coordinate technician schedules, allocate daily work assignments, optimize service efficiency, and support the company's operational objectives.
• Monitor field service quality, review completed work, recommend operational improvements, and assist in resolving escalated customer concerns.
• Assist with onboarding and training newly hired technicians on company procedures, service standards, documentation requirements, and customer service expectations.
• Coordinate the tracking and replenishment of diagnostic tools, equipment, and commonly used replacement parts required for field operations.
• Prepare routine productivity and operational reports for management.
• Ensure technicians comply with company policies, workplace health and safety requirements, and established operating procedures while performing appliance repair services.
Qualifications
• No formal education is required however, technical training or certification in appliance repair, electrical systems, or a related field is considered an asset.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience repairing household appliances or related mechanical/electrical equipment; direct supervisory experience of 1 year or more will be an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license is considered an asset.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a service team.

• Work locations include Aurora, Ontario and surrounding areas within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
