Modern Development & Excavation (MDX) is hiring a full-time, year-round Project Manager in Juneau. We’re a HUBZone-certified excavation and underground utility contractor working across Southeast Alaska.
You’ll run projects from award to closeout: contracts, schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, job cost and owner communication. Our superintendents run the field.
2027 work includes a federal water main project in a national park and a large subdivision utility corridor in Juneau.
What we’re looking for:
Experience managing heavy civil, sitework or utility projects
Comfortable with plans, specs, schedules and job cost tracking
Strong Excel skills and clear writing
Willing to travel to remote job sites
Federal and Davis-Bacon experience, CQM-C or OSHA 30 a plus
Pay: [120,000–$185,000/yr DOE], plus [benefits]. Per diem paid for out-of-town work.
