Converters Plus is seeking a dependable driver/laborer to travel to wrecking yards throughout Washington state and the greater Portland, Oregon, area, where they will distribute flyers and perform occasional physical labor.
Location and travel:
• Position is based in Auburn, Washington
• Travel to wrecking yards throughout Washington state and the greater Portland area is required
• Occasional overnight travel is required
• A company card will be provided for approved travel expenses, including lodging, meals, and fuel
Position details:
• This is a 1099 independent contractor position
• Pay: $30 per hour
• Part-time position with the possibility of full-time work
• Approximately 25–30 hours per week
• Typical schedule is Monday through Saturday; days and hours vary
• Expected start date: September 7, 2026
• Approximately 80% route driving and flyer distribution and 20% physical labor
• Company vehicle and fuel card provided for approved work-related expenses
• Drive established routes to wrecking yards and distribute company flyers
• Tow and back up a trailer as part of assigned routes
• Work may involve extended periods of driving, walking, standing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be able to manually lift and carry up to 75 pounds
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Must have experience safely towing and backing up a trailer
• Comfortable performing physical labor at wrecking yards and other work locations
• Willing and able to travel throughout Washington state and the greater Portland area
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and occasional overnight trips
