The Placer County Assessor’s Office seeks a Senior Auditor-Appraiser to play a key role in valuing business property and resolving complex assessment issues. This advanced-level position performs complex audits of business records, appraises personal property and fixtures, resolves challenging assessment appeals, and provides supervision, training, and guidance to staff.
The ideal candidate is an experienced professional who can work independently, handle complex assignments, communicate effectively with the public, and serve as a lead within the team.
The eligible list established as a result of this recruitment will be used to fill current and future vacancies in the Assessor's Office as they arise, subject to position-specific requirements.
