Hi, I'm currently in the midst of learning the Russian language and am doing it by book with audio and written excercises. What Ive realized is that by learning grammar first its sort of the reverse process for learning a language. Usually one will learn it through hearing others and in media, ect. So im looking for a Russian speaker to hang out with, and essentially tutor me. But the fact that you may not be a licensed teacher or anything, Id be willing to take a more casual approach and just help me by letting me speak to you and correct my pronuciation and I can ask words. Maybe you can share some Slavic culture with me if you are from Eastern Europe/Russia or some Cultural centers in the Seattle area. I am currently going to Russian church and that is helping. Ive been wanting to learn this language since I was 19. I'm a guy in my late 20's, Im pretty laid back and try to carry a welcoming energy. I like to write, snowboard, skate, music, drawing, working out, psychology/philosophy. Those are a few of my hobbies. I can pay maybe $15 and hour cash if we are more or less just talking back and forth, or if youve taught before and do structured lessons I can pay $20. I know it isnt much, but I'm also not expecting you to teach me much without my own dedication. It will take a few years in the end. Thanks for reading.
