VIDEO EDITOR Needed Sci-Fi / Dramedy Projects (Atlanta)

Video Editors Wanted: We’re looking for editors for two upcoming projects:
🎬 PROJECT 1 — 8-min sci-fi dramedy trailer/proof of concept
🎬 PROJECT 2— scripted dramedy web series | 4 episodes | 5–10 mi
Project 1: Sci-Fi / Dramedy
- Near-future sci-fi dramedy centered around Black Americans and their evolving relationship with the U.S. government.
- One-day shoot, one location, relatively contained footage.
- Looking for someone with strong visual instincts who can help build out the sci-fi world through creative editing and effects.
- We’re also looking for a strong visual clip to round out the ending, which will include a montage of Black American experiences.
Project 2: Dramedy Series
- Follows a Nigerian American man navigating love, family, culture, and belonging.
- We’re remixing existing footage and looking for an editor who can think outside the box, help shape narrative, and build a strong storyline through the edit.
- Strong comedic timing and sensitivity to cultural nuances are important.
- Open to creative approaches and collaboration.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong editing skills and creative instincts.
- Ability to think creatively with existing footage.
- Collaborative and open to feedback.

COMPENSATION:
- Paid, based on experience, scope, and timeline.
- A portion of compensation may be paid upon delivery of a strong first cut, with the remainder paid upon completion.
- Deferred or shared compensation may be available in select circumstances, depending on the scope and structure of the collaboration.
Editable project files and source media must be provided upon completion.
Musicians / Artists
- We’re also looking for musicians and artists whose work may be a good fit for either project. If you make music or know an artist whose work you think we should hear, feel free to send it our way.
