I’m a classically trained professional painter offering private, one-on-one painting and drawing lessons for students at all levels of experience. My work has been exhibited at Museo Rufino Tamayo, Museo de la Ciudad de México, and Museo Experimental El Eco, and I’ve been teaching for more than ten years.

Rather than working from a pre-packaged curriculum, I build every class around the individual student. You’ll learn the classical fundamentals of drawing and painting, but in a way that directly reflects your own interests, goals, and the kind of work you actually want to make.

The paintings we work on are entirely of your choosing. Portraiture, landscape, still life, the human figure, animals, even a portrait of your dog. We can work in oils, acrylics, drawing, or a combination of media. My own work is highly realistic, but I teach across a very broad range of styles, subjects, and genres, all rooted in Old Master methods and traditions.

For online lessons, I use a two-camera setup so you can see both me and the painting or drawing surface clearly. I demonstrate techniques step by step and work through the same painting alongside you, so you can see exactly how each stage develops in real time.

Message me for scheduling, pricing, and package options.
