Wind Turbine - $3,000 (Hayden, Idaho)

This is a used wind turbine which ran fine then it had an issue which was also misdiagnosed so it was taken down to only find out it had a bad bearing on the mount location resulting in twisted broken grounded connection wires which was the issue. A replacement wind turbine was already on site and assembled so it went up instead of our Whisper 500. This is a good unit if a guy has some mechanical skills and some electrical skills to repair the visual damage mentioned. Parts and support are available on the internet as most things are anymore.
This wind turbine has 66” long twin blades and operates between 8-35 MPH winds and it turns to follow the wind direction. It can and will put out 2,500-3,500 A/C watts. It has a reverse polarity brake, and the tail fin turns it sideways in overly extreme winds for self-protection. It also comes with two charge controllers to convert A/C to D/C. These charge controllers will change A/C to provide D/C to charge a battery bank, or the A/C can be used instead. The original charge controller worked fine and was blamed for the above issue, so a new charge controller was purchased. These units are worth $2,000.00. They are part of the package price.
The pictures show the parts, both the assembly and set up manual and the operating manual are included. There are no poles or towers included just the complete power-head assembly and the indoor charge controllers. I am not an installer nor an electrician so I am offering this off-grid asset to someone who is or knows who can help them get this up and charging again.
