Grade Buckskin Gelding - $4,000 (Athol)

Trapper John is a 15 year old grade Quarter/Arab gelding, 15 hands. Solid feet, good bone. Easy to catch, leads, loads, ties, good for the farrier. Nice under saddle and smooth. He has been on trails and in the arena, he rides alone and with other horses. Crosses water, sidepasses, good stop and back up, good haunch and forehand turn. Kids have ridden him and he does well. He does get herd bound when not ridden consistently, nothing dangerous, no rearing, bucking or refusing, just loses focus and talks to his buddies. Rides in a snaffle just fine.
He would be great as your trail buddy, open show horse(he would be a nice Ranch Pattern/Rail/Reining horse), or 4-h horse. He is a sweet and goofy boy, he will steal your hat and play with it.

$4,000 obo or will trade for a barrel prospect (will consider Quarter ponies or P.O.As as well).
