Working band is looking for an outgoing, personable singer/front person (male or female) to front an established combo playing a combination of popular standards, light jazz and Motown/R&B.
Our motto is “high spirits, low volume,” and we’re looking for a mature individual comfortable with crowd interaction. If you used to sing in a band back in the day and want to get back into it, but at a more relaxed pace, this is the band for you.
The band (quartet + vocalist) is established and performs mainly in the Anne Arundel Country area. Most gigs are at private senior living communities and private parties and special events, but we do play some select restaurants on occasion.
We like to have fun and we travel light with a small PA. Most band members are retired and the bulk of our gigs are short (less than two hours with no late-night gigs) and on week nights with a rare weekend gig now and again.
