You do have to watch out. There are always 'cheap' painters. They will always 'beat bids'. Then ask them for their business registration information and proof of insurance and the cheap painters fall silent. Face it, anyone can advertise to be a painter. But you take chances if any type of accident happens, they can sue you. If something happens and you get poor quality work you have no legal recourse because you hired the fly by night guy. Your home and your possessions are not worth the risk of hiring the 'I'll beat prices' guy because the cheap price is all they have to offer. Best yet, we aren't even handymen or 'make ready' guys. We don't do 'much more' We paint. That's it. You are looking to hire a real painter and not some guy who 'does painting too', right? Then skip the handymen and skip the fly by night operators. It's simply not worth it.A real company!

Most other ads have out of area numbers, no photos, no website and few if any ways to look them up to verify their claims. A LEGIT BUSINESS WILL ALWAYS PUT THEIR NAME IN THE AD!! Many are not a real business, a ton are out of area scammers and lead generation companies. Notice a super fancy ad? WHERE IS THE NAME OF THE COMPANY??
