These are Arlington, VA-grown Native Red Maple trees. They will achieve heights of about 40 feet tall, making them medium size trees at maturity.
These trees have been tended to in pots for the past five years. They were selected from the ground at about two-years of age while growing in a yard beneath the parent specimen, located along the Arlington/Falls Church border.
For the past five years they have been moved about the garden, providing incredible Fall foliage, with red, yellow, and orange color.
These can be tapped for Maple Syrup!
They are very fast-growing and attractive trees. They can be planted along a grass sidewalk strip or be transplanted into bigger pots to be strategically placed in your yard/patio/balcony to add color and possibly some birds to your environment.
