Hi, I need to get rid of this printer. I'm too tech-illiterate and easily frustrated, apparently. The printer worked beautifully for months. I changed the toner, it still worked beautiful. Then it needed me to change the drum. I did. But the process of changing the drum isn't as simple as "insert new drum" - and I couldn't figure out how to make the printer work afterward. The directions were confusing. Somehow I ended up disconnecting it from my wi-fi, and now I'm irrationally angry at this printer that I've gone an bought a new printer without wireless capability - I just plug my laptop it and it prints.
The printer works perfectly. But I, as the user, don't. I'm not technologically intelligent enough for this printer. That's why I'm selling it.
I'm including the toner cartridge I replaced a month before the printer stopped working.
I'm including two almost-new toner cartridges (I opened them, put them in the printer, they didn't magically fix anything, and I put them pack in the plastic bag and taped the bag shut). I'm including 4 drums besides the one in the printer now (I bought 2 Brother drums then an off label pack of 2). The off-label ones are unopened. While I wans changing the drums, I unfortunately lost track of which one was the one that needed to be replaced. But the printer should ID that one easily.
New, the printer was $150 (and I bought it 4-5 months ago). New toner is $100. A drum unit is $115. So I poured almost $800 into this printer that worked great from December-May, until I tried and failed to follow the complicated directions to change the drum.
I'm asking $250 for the printer, the toner, and the drums. $250, or best offer. You pick up.
