We are looking for skilled and motivated Sewing Machine Operators to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Kokatat provides methodical, hands-on training for any individual who meets the Qualifications and Requirements. Previous Sewing experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Job Description:
Operates sewing machine(s) to produce components and finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operates one or more types of sewing machines to produce components and finished goods to applicable Work Standards.
• Observes operation of machines and makes machine adjustments as necessary to maintain quality work standards.
• Follows general and product-specific construction instructions.
• Tracks and records production information including product identifiers, quantities and times.
• Contributes to Kokatat’s Quality Management System and its related processes
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements
• Able to read product travelers, specifications and identifiers.
• Able to accurately record product identifiers with quantities and times.
• Able to communicate effectively with department lead.
• Shows consistent proficiency in technical skills.
• Demonstrates good communication regarding problems or non-conformities
• Demonstrates ability to comprehend instructions and/or redirection
• Ability to work well in a team
• Ability to work Autonomously
• Ability to adapt to evolving trends and incorporate them into innovative designs.
