I bought this little custom snare and took the shell to the shop and spent weeks getting the stains/oils, (24 hour to cure between each layer) and sanding just right. I then put new German wires and brand new Evans and Remo heads and a custom fat maple top hoop that I also finished.
This is a beautiful esthetically, sounding snare, at exceptional price. Will consider trade.
