Seeking to hire a full-time (30-34 hours per week), direct support care provider for in-home and out-of-home support services for an adult male who has intellectual and developmental disabilities. Must be willing to work flexible shift days and hours, including week-end availability! Interested persons "must have" some previous experience providing direct support services. Examples of the Care Services this position includes & requires: Assistance with daily living activities such as, showering, grooming, dental hygiene, some assistance dressing, meal preparation & clean up, medication administration & necessary assistance to maintain a healthy and clean living environment; Also, assist with Community access via walking and/or driving to park, to beach, local market, store(s), adult day care, doctor/dentist appointments etc.
"All" interested persons must provide a resume which includes, verification of previous employment experience, employer references & contact info, must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation; applicants will be required to complete a DDS criminal record statement and be able to pass a background check.
*Hourly Pay: Starting rate, $24.00
*Benefits included: {After 90 days employment} 1) Sick Pay leave may be taken (40 hours total annually)..
