We are seeking skilled and dependable Residential Deck Installer Subcontractors to construct and install high-quality outdoor decks for residential customers. The ideal subcontractor has experience building wood and composite decking systems, can interpret project plans, and consistently delivers exceptional craftsmanship while meeting project timelines.
Responsibilities
-Construct residential decks according to approved plans, specifications, and local building codes.
-Install pressure-treated wood, cedar, composite decking, railings, stairs, skirting, and other deck components.
-Layout, measure, and frame deck structures accurately.
-Install footings, posts, beams, joists, decking boards, rail systems, fascia, and trim.
-Ensure all work meets company quality standards and manufacturer installation requirements.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
-Protect homeowner property during construction.
-Identify and communicate any site conditions or structural issues before installation.
-Work efficiently to complete projects on schedule.
-Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, and office staff.
Qualifications
-Minimum of 3 years of residential deck construction experience preferred.
-Proven experience with wood and composite deck systems.
-Ability to read blueprints, layout drawings, and work orders.
-Knowledge of local residential building codes and structural framing requirements.
-Strong carpentry, measuring, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
-Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
-Must provide all necessary tools and equipment.
-Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
