Vintage Mobil Pegasus service station sign – barn find.
Large original-style Pegasus sign with the classic red flying horse on a white translucent face. This has been sitting storage for years and is being sold exactly as found.
The sign was originally internally illuminated with fluorescent lights. It currently does not light up and I have not attempted to repair or restore anything. Wiring/ballasts/bulbs may need attention.
Face displays very well with great original patina. There are scratches, scuffs and age-related wear as shown in the photos. Metal sign cabinet/back is intact and the original lighting fixtures are still inside.
Would make an awesome centerpiece for a shop, garage, man cave, automotive collection, gas station/petroliana collection, or vintage dealership display.
$3,500 OBO
Cash/local pickup. It’s large, so bring appropriate transportation.
