Lone Star Auto Sales is looking for 2 reliable and hardworking mechanic helper/assistant to assist with the maintenance and repair of vehicles at our shop.
JOB DUTIES:
-Assist mechanic with vehicle repairs and maintenance
-Perform basic oil changes and fluid checks
- Assist with brakes, batteries, tires and other basic repairs
-Help remove and install vehicle parts
-Inspect vehicles and report mechanical issues
-Help prepare vehicles for sale
- Keep tools and work areas clean and organized
-Assist with other shop duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic automotive knowledge preferred
-Previous mechanic or shop experience is a plus, but not required
-Willing to learn and follow instructions
-Dependable and punctual
-Responsible and hardworking
-Valid driver's license preferred
- Must be able to work safely around vehicles, tools, and equipment
