I'm new to the area (moved up from the Bay Area in 2025.)
I'm looking for an opportunity to play some music with folks that want to perform and have fun doing it.
I'll play just about anything but hard rock/metal/banger/death, whatever you call that loud screaming stuff. Not my lane.
Do you play Rock/Pop/R&B/Blues/Country/Americana/Motown/Blue Grass/Dead? ---I have done these.
Style wise, I'm a Charlie Watts/Ringo kinda drummer. It's about the song and whatever it needs. I don't solo, but I can add vocals.
I know how to control my dynamics, so I won't be blasting folks out the door of smaller venues.
I won't fill over your vocals or solos. Again, It's about the song. Let's work together.
I'd prefer not to spend too much energy trying to get that "album perfect" cover. Let's play well and be creative.
I am Not interested in a jam band or hanging out in your garage and learning tunes. If that is your thing, you go for it!
I want to get out and play for an audience: cafes, wineries, brew pubs, street fairs, private events. I'm not really a bar-band guy.
I have good gear, good transportation, and flexible time. But I don't have is a band. I'm a one-band drummer, so no mixed loyalties.
Send me your set list. I'll learn your songs and come in prepared to learn your intros and outros.
If it ain't fun, I'm done. So, just put on your happy face and let's make some good music and have a blast.
