There is a substrate basin in there for the turtle to dig, lay eggs, and/or bask.
The enclosure is perfect for small aquatic turtles such as(but not limited to): Musk, Muds, dwarf African Sidenecks, Spotted, certain male map turtles, possibly reeve's.
Can also be used for certain semi-aquatic frogs and lizards/snakes.
The basking area was made with ultum nature rimless tank & pvc pipe all siliconed in place.
I do have metal lid inserts that you can use to prop UVB lamps + halogen lamps(if you have any & should). The lids are large grids that can allow tubing & plugs through.
You can make a walk way to the basking area with a flat piece of driftwood. You can hide the PVC pipe with small pieces of driftwood. I left it as is for ease of cleaning.
It was made with ease of cleaning & aesthetic in mind.
You can make a planted tank with it but the success of that depends on the species of turtle and how you protect the plants.
This tank was made for a single turtle in mind.
Filters I recommend using:
Fluval FX2 , FX4, FX6 canisters
Eheim canister filters
Possibly aquaclear if you mod it properly.

The only thing offered in this listing is the aquarium, background, basking area/nesting and the lids. Nothing else is offered, nor included.
Not suitable for cooters, sliders, giant mexican musk, snappers, softshells, painteds, female maps, and realistically nothing that grows larger than 6inch.
