Two Liquidlogic kayaks, a blue Stingray 14 single and a yellow Zirconia tandem. Both come with the adjustable length paddles shown in the photos, so they fit boaters of all heights.
The Stingray 14 is a crossover sit-inside kayak that blends the stability and comfort of a recreational boat with the length and glide of a touring kayak. The large cockpit makes getting in and out easy, with plenty of legroom for taller paddlers and plenty of room for a child or furry friend to come along. It is 14 feet long and about 28 inches wide, with a max load around 325 pounds. It is equipped with a rudder steered by foot pedals, which keeps you on course in wind and chop without breaking your paddle rhythm. A sealed rear bulkhead with a large hatch gives dry storage, with bungee tie downs on the front deck.
The Zirconia is a two person sit-inside kayak, also 14 feet long, with a long open cockpit so both paddlers can get in and out easily. It is stable and forgiving for beginners, but with two people paddling it moves quickly and covers a lot of water. Both seats are brand new, thick and padded with high backrests for comfort on longer outings, and each has a removable storage bag attached to the back for snacks, sunscreen, or a phone. There is also room for gear, a cooler, or a dog.
Together they make a great family kayak bundle. Two paddlers in the tandem, and one adult with a little one riding along in the Stingray, gets a family of four out on Shasta Lake, Whiskeytown, or Keswick together. Both have rotomolded polyethylene hulls, so they hold up to beach launches and rocky shorelines.
Both are in good condition with light scratches only and no holes or leaks. The seat and hatch cover on the Stingray are in good shape.
