Grizzly Expediters and Taxidermy LLC is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team in our tannery.
We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and interested in developing skills in the tanning and preservation of animal hides and skins. Previous tannery or taxidermy experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
Position Responsibilities:
* Assist with the processing, tanning, and preservation of animal hides and skins
* Learn and safely operate tannery equipment and tools
* Learn proper hide preparation techniques, including working with knives and other hand tools
* Load, unload, move, and organize hides and materials
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Follow safety procedures and instructions
* Perform other hands-on tannery duties as needed
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
* Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, squat, and work in various physical positions
* Must be comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks
* Must be able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
* Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Schedule:
* Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
* Occasional Saturdays during busy seasons
* Overtime available when needed

* Positive attitude and good work ethic
* Previous taxidermy, tannery, meat processing, hide processing, or other hands-on experience is a plus, but not required
This is a hands-on job with opportunities to learn valuable skills in the tanning and preservation of animal skins. We are looking for someone who wants to learn, work hard, and become a dependable part of our team.
