These boats are renowned for portable access to adventure as well as for their stability, carrying capacity and safety. Purchased in ’78, this one owner boat was used for weekend explorations of Sitka Sound, but we also flew her to Telegraph Creek, BC for an epic 10 day float trip down the Stikine River to Wrangel, Alaska and used her to explore the coast of West Chichagof-Yakobi Island Wilderness Area in Southeast Alaska. She also has explored Resurrection Bay, Glacier Bay National Park and the coast of Kenai Fjords National Park. Klepper Kayaks are made in Germany but parts are available in this country if needed.
This Klepper has been well loved and cared for by one couple. For the last 35+ years it has be stored inside as we raised kids and went on to other adventures. It is in good condition and ready to be put in the water, sailed and paddled by others. $1,750.
