Yes, the car is still available if you’re seeing this listing.
I’ve owned it since 2007, and I really like it.
I’m selling it because I bought another the same Explorer, but with a lot fewer miles.
Please don’t expect too much from an older car.
Over the years, it’s picked up scratches and dents, the seats are dirty, and the windshield has cracks...
Please, see all pictures.
About 4–5 years ago, the front hubs and thermostat housing were replaced.
The alternator was replaced last year, and the water pump was replaced this year.
So it seems like something needs attention almost every year.
CONS:
The ABS isn’t working right now. It probably needs new sensors, but I don’t want to deal with that anymore.
There’s a small oil leak. It doesn’t need constant topping off, but it’s a good idea to check the oil level once a week.
There’s also a coolant leak—you’ll need to add about a cup every few days.
PROS:
The car is still running—it starts and drives.
Everything works as it should except for the ABS.
The heater and air conditioning both work well.
The battery is in good condition.
The registration is valid through June 2028.
Clean title.
Two keys.
Additions:
Front brakes rotors and pads.
Cross Rail Roof Rack.
It has all-season tires, but they’re fairly old.
The current mileage is 243,582 miles, but it may be a little higher by the time it’s sold since I’m still using the car for daily trips around town.
Selling as-is, with the vehicle's condition reflected in the asking price.
